Back in February, I blogged about On Demand?s Diversity on Demand campaign. The purpose of the initiative is to showcase entertainment programming and options created for the diversity in us all. The campaign was first introduced during Black History month, but will create awareness all year long. This is something I can truly appreciate because diversity should not just be relegated to 28 days out of the year.
During the month of April, Diversity On Demand is keeping with its goal of highlighting and sharing multicultural programming.
According to the press release:
All year-long, the cable industry is shining its spotlight on the broad array of diversity and multicultural themed programming available On Demand on cable. And anyone with an interest in diversity, is encouraged to share their passion for TV shows and movies that reflect, honor and explore a diverse and multicultural America, at www.facebook.com/DiversityOnDemand.
During April, cable is highlighting and sharing multicultural programming in? ?arts and entertainment.? This programming features actors, directors, producers, musicians or artists of diverse ethnicities.
Diversity On Demand would like to spread the message by having you like their Facebook page, so that you can learn more about what programming is being offered and share it with your friends online.
